Definition of The Specific Term:
Electronic-Ticket, children, infant, a valid identity document, the normal fares, special fares, issuance ticket fares, orders state, and transfer connection.
- Electronic Ticket:
Electronic Ticket (ET) is a method to document the sale of passenger transportation (Electronic Ticket) and related services(electronic miscellaneous documents) without requiring the issuance of paper value documents.Compared with ordinary tickets, ET has more obvious advantages.
The advantages of ET :
1. You can purchase tickets through the Internet and use credit cards, but no need to pay for it to the ticketing-sale window.
2. You can check in by your valid identity card in the airport ,but no need to deliver tickets or take tickets.
China Airlines will follow the IATA standard ET scenario, and will support the excellent service, what we want is only to make your purchase and travel become more relax and happy!

Child:
A person who has reached his/her second birthday but not his/her 12th birthday(2-11 inclusive) as of the date of commencement of travel, paying children's fare.
- Infant:
A child under the age of two years old.(Currently ,ET does not support the infant tickets)
- Travel Documents:
When ticketing or during check-in, China's mainland citizens need to present their identity cards. Foreigner travelers, Chinese citizens from Hong Kong and Macau, Taiwan or other countries should be prepared to present their passports or other valid travel documents. Birth Certificates should be used for children under age of 16.

Normal Fares:
The most expensive fare of the first class, business class, economic class in the marketing sale ,which is no over valid dates.

The other fare does not in the range of normal fare.
- Issuance:
Additional protection is available to passengers by purchasing insurance from a private, third party companies. Such insurance is not affected by any liability limitation of the carrier for death or personal injury to a passenger.

Tickets Fare:
The available fare from the passenger starting flying off. The price will not be changed as the ticket sole, even the fare is changed.

Transfer Connection:
Transfer connection ticket refers to when a traveler must change flights at an airport en-route to their destination. Such as from Dalian via Shanghai to Kunming, Shanghai is the transfer city. Each segment of the flight or the carrier may be different. Transfer connection ticket interval of two flights will less than two hours. The transfer connection ticket will be cheaper than many through fare when it's open.
Generally speaking, the transfer connection is very convenient, After your first flight the airport will have clear instructions guide you change to the next segment of flights, generally do not need to out of airport, and do not need another security checks. You only need to check-in exchange for boarding pass at the transfer counters for the next flights after take the baggage consignment and checked baggage.
Transfer connection ticket with a specific provision, abandoning the first segment of the flight was not able to travel to the second segment of flight! For the second segment of the flight check-in, it needs to present the boarding pass of the first segment.
